Pair of Louis XV Carved Beech Wood Bergeres, circa 1750, with burnt orange and white upholstery on cabriole legs, stamped "E. Meunier". 35.5" H x 28.5" W x 29" D; seat 16" H.
Provenance: From a New York City Collection.
Note: Etienne Meunier, maitre circa 1732, was a member of the Meunier dynasty of Parisian ebenistes during the first half of the 18th century, focusing predominantly on Louis XV seats.
