A rare to market blacksmith stake stump anvil. Most likely used for nail making. It's all hand forged of steel. This was found under the boards of a 1600's barn in Plymouth Massachusetts. The dealer we acquired it from believes it to have been made its way from Europe.
A great piece of history that now stands as a sculpture and piece of educational history. Great for person of the trade, man cave, or retail, amongst other options.
