Offering a vintagePietra Dura tessellated Cloisonne style domed marble jewelry box with calla lilies, circa Late 20th Century, signed Robinsons' on bottom. This gorgeous box is made of beige tessellated coral rock with an oval vignette of three Pietra Dura cloisonne pink marble calla lily flowers on a black and gray marble background.
PLEASE NOTE: This box is uniquely designed to open in a vertical format as shown in the photos.
The "Pietra Dura" look is done in a Cloisonne style technique with brass banding and inlaid semi-precious stones. The interior and the bottom of the box has black flocking for delicate jewelry pieces, with a black strap on the left side to keep the box open as shown.
