A rare complete 14-piece collection of vintage Wedgwood “Hunting Scenes” and Sporting Plates, made in Etruria & Barlaston, England, circa 1950s. Each finely detailed plate features classic fox-hunting and equestrian scenes, framed by Wedgwood’s signature scalloped embossed border in rich burgundy and cream — a hallmark of English country design.
This collectible set includes:
• 2 × Master of the Hounds – the start of the hunt
• 2 × Full Cry – the thrilling mid-chase
• 2 × Gone Away – riders in pursuit
• 2 × The Kill – the triumphant finale
• 2 × The Laggard – the charming straggler
• 2 × Whipper-In – the huntsman’s assistant
• 1 × 1st September – partridge shooting scene
