Elegant Georgian era sarcophagus-form tea caddy in rosewood, with original escutcheon raised on small bun feet. The sloped lid features a ribbed wooden decorative cartouche and opens to reveal two lidded tea compartments and a central well that once housed a mixing bowl.

Excellent color and patina with minor age-appropriate wear to be expected to the outside and it's possible that someone has made some touch ups through the years.
