A stunning glass bowl designed by Per Lütken for the legendary Danish glassworks Holmegaard. Made of clear glass in a cool blue shade, it resembles a drop of water enclosed in a form – soft, organic, and full of light.
Every detail of this form highlights Lütken's mastery in combining simplicity and emotion – the smooth, undulating line of the glass creates an impression of movement, as if the bowl were still in the process of melting or forming. In daylight, the glass delights with its play of reflections, catching and reflecting light in an almost magical way.
It is not just a vessel, but a small glass sculpture – a symbol of Scandinavian design that combines functionality with artistic expression. Perfect as a centerpiece for a table, console, or display case. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
