The feet have … Read more C.1950's: Italian Hollywood Regency era, hand- painted, porcelain ceramic Albino or White monkey atop a chartreuse base. The feet have been glazed in a prominant pink coloration, one can see the foot in front, while the other is tucked under protruding from the back side. as well as the ears and nasal area and lips, are also glazed in the same distinctive pink. The face has a comedic, quasi thoughtful adornment of yellow, chartreuse and green glaze(s), with the eyes circled in a black glaze as if one had an invisible mask, or to showcase the eye's, beyond the fact the monkey's thought process' take on the thinker stance, and/or reflective meanderings.
