Being sold … Read more Set of vintage framed art prints by Piero Fornasetti, featuring his "Sole e Luna" (Sun and Moon) motifs. Being sold as a set of two (x2). The prints are based on Fornasetti's "Lunario del Sole" (Solar Almanac) from 1942, which depicted anthropomorphic suns. These are licensed print editions with the serigraph artwork printed and imported from France and retailed within the United States. Unsigned. Two seriagraphs with a rich dark color palette and gold accents. Wood frames with original matting, glass and backer material. Backer material does show wear from handling and hanging. Glass is crack free. Wood frames are sturdy and show minor wear, gilt wood loss commensurate with age and handling. Please see all photos and video.
