Offering for sale this gorgeous set of two (2) chairs made by the highly esteemed Baker Furniture Company (High Point, North Carolina) with the following fine features:
- Made of solid walnut with a dark walnut stain circa 1980s
- Quintessential King Louis LXI style
- Carved upper backrest (crest) and upper arms with acanthus floral swag relief
- Carved spindle arm support stretchers
- Classic fluted tapered cylindrical front legs with carved acanthus floral swag relief
- Vibrant and colorful "tropical" fabric
- Measurements include 37.5" total height with a 20" seat height (with cushion), a 24" seat width x 17" seat depth, a 25" arm height and a 24" arm width
- In perfect structural and very good vintage cosmetic condition, with no significant imperfections such as rips or tears, but rather wear to the cushions indicative of normal age (40+ years) and use, yet no visible wear to the frame
- Original makers tags on both seats
