This 14K gold eye charm is inspired by the Mexican religious Milagro the "double-eye", traditionally believed to call forward the watchful eye of a deceased loved one. Milagros, meaning in Spanish are traditionally religious charms with varying symbolic and spiritual significance. The two sapphire eyes are striking, and the design also doubles as outstretched angel wings.
This piece can also be worn as a pendant. It has a bail opening that measures 6.4 x 3.6 mm, fitting a variety of chain sizes. The charm measures 1 1/4" by 3/4" (bail to bottom) and it weighs 2.07 grams. The sapphires eyes each measure about 1.5 mm.
