Offering for sale this awe-inspiring solid cast iron door knocker featuring a cherub motif. It measures 6.5" wide x 9" height. It's thick, substantial and heavy-duty, weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces. It has "just the right amount" of oxidation, without compromising the integrity of the cast iron, but also giving it a gorgeous reddish hue patina. Compares favorably to others listed for $250+ and entirely superior to others selling for less than $150. This door knocker came from a proper estate in Asheville, North Carolina. In perfect working and very good vintage cosmetic condition.
