This late 19th century solid wood oak frame has been repurposed into a mirror with a rich walnut brown stained finish. The reflection piece leans toward a Victorian, Art Nouveau or traditional styles. The layers of various wood trims include beveled and an ornate gesso floral fillet, (which is a plaster-like substance) creating a rich texture to the design and adds character to the 5 inch depth of the frame. The piece includes hanging hardware on reverse side. This antique frame with a new mirror would be great in an entry, over a buffet in a dining or sofa. Consider making this a "keeper" in your home?
