The company has a rich history, with its origins linked to the Toso family, which established itself in Murano around 1350. Over the centuries, Barovier & Toso has evolved, merging with Ferro Toso in 1936 and later becoming Barovier & Toso in 1942. The company is known for its Venetian crystal, a unique and safe glass material produced without lead or arsenic, which has been a hallmark of their craftsmanship for over 700 years. The family has maintained a tradition of excellence, producing exquisite glass art that continues to be celebrated worldwide.
