This pair armchairs was retrieved from Shanxi province located in Northwest of China with rich culture and history. This pair antique armchairs has carvings on the back splat. The restoration is intentionally kept to the minimal. The well-aged original finish leaves beautiful patina all over this pair armchair. This style armchair was also commonly called 'Southern Official Hat Chair' because of its resemblance to the wing-like brimmed government official hat. A pair will be outstanding accent chairs for a living room, dining room, or hall way.
