Design Plus Gallery presents an Art Glass Platter by Edward Hald for Orrefors. The large, hazy purple hued piece is barely there, an ethereal piece of art. Little wear; good condition. Made in Sweden.
"Glass maker and designer. Trained as architect and painter. Worked with Johan Rohde in Copenhagen, then briefly at Rörstrand, before his loong assicioation with Orrefors, where he worked from 1917-78. He worked in the Graal technique throughout his career, as well as creating engraved glass pieces."
