One depicts a pair of lovers playing the harp within a beautifully decorated 19th century room, and the other depicts soldiers on horseback riding next to canons on a battlefield. The centerpiece is held up by ornately designed gold feet. The handles of each side are the same ornate style as the feet. The border features a large "N" in gold at the bottom of each piece, this could have significance to the original owners of the pieces. Opposite from the "N," there is a bird of prey looking proudly toward the right in gold. This is an expertly crafted piece of art, and a fantastic addition to any 19th century art aficionado's collection. See less
