The arm chair features solid wood … Read more This is a stylish vintage Asian style lounge chair by American furniture maker Schnadig.

The arm chair features solid wood (maple?) construction with a light blonde finish. The chair frame has a slatted back, Greek key arms, and Ming style chow legs. A floral lotus motif is carved into the front apron, which is a common detail on meditation chairs. The chair has detachable seat and back cushions with zippered cushion covers in solid black with matching welting. The chair is signed Schnadig / International Furniture and dated 1994.

The lounge chair is in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. The chair is very sturdy and solid. It is very comfortable and cushy. The cushions are in great shape, pretty clean except for what looks like remnants of Elmer’s glue that could be carefully peeled off. The wood finish has some scrapes on the arms and legs. The chair measures 34.75" tall, 30" wide, and 34" deep with a seat height of 18.5 inches and an arm height of 22.75 inches. The seat depth is 22 inches. See less
