A beautifully crafted 19th century parlor or side chair, this elegant piece features French Rococo Revival influences, popular during the mid-Victorian era (circa 1860–1880). Likely made from rich dark walnut or mahogany, the frame showcases a romantic silhouette with soft, carved wood moldings and delicate flourishes.

Balloon-Back Design: Classic 19th century style with a central back panel flanked by graceful double cutouts, enhancing its light, airy look. Carved Details: Intricate carvings along the top rail, slender curved waist, and flared legs ending in finely detailed feet. Original caned seat & back (deconstructed) pre-drilled holes in both the seat and backrest for woven caning, typical of the era. Approx. 15–17” W × 17.5” D × 34.75” H compact scale ideal for Victorian interiors or modern eclectic spaces. Sturdy and stable frame; some joints may benefit from gluing. Of unknown era or origin.
