Crackled earthenware basin supported by three cherubs or putti, late 19th century
How about inviting the charm of baroque crackled earthenware into your home?
Crafted in late 19th century France, this decorative basin, featuring the image of three putti in the round around a basket, is made of glossy, crackled earthenware in ivory white tones.
This small decorative masterpiece in French earthenware perfectly illustrates the expertise and refinement of late 19th century ceramic artisans. As beautiful as it is useful, this basin can be integrated into a European earthenware collection as well as your tableware, sitting in the center of your table or on a console table to hold your fruit or appetizers.
It has an unidentified mark under the base. Its style and glaze quality are typical of ceramics from this period, with a Baroque, Neo-Rococo style approaching the early Art Nouveau style. In very good overall condition, one putti is missing a finger.
Lovers of French crackled glazed earthenware, don't wait any longer! Treat yourself and your guests to a superb late 19th-century earthenware basin with putti!
