Stunning Japanese celebratory FUKURO OBI hand woven in Silk Brocade. From Kyoto
Colors used in the weaving of this silk brocade are soft ivory, green, coral with highlights in blue and gold on a black background.
Patterns include the auspicious symbols of fans and KIKU or chrysanthemum flowers.
this obi was hand made for a wealthy Japanese woman to be worn with a kimono for a formal occasion.
