A stunning vintage Wedgwood Majolica shell dish in a rich emerald green glaze, made in Staffordshire, England, circa 1954. The piece features a scalloped shell form with beautifully detailed ribbing and lustrous glazing — a hallmark of Wedgwood’s mid-century revival of their classic Victorian majolica line.
Stamped on the underside: “Wedgwood / Made in England / GG4 / 6L54”, dating the production to June 1954. A lovely decorative accent for display on a console, vanity, or bookshelf, or as a serving dish for special occasions.
