Elegant oval salt cellar with an openwork gilt bronze frame, finely chiseled with floral scrolls and foliage. It rests on four feet with leafy scrolls. The interior is lined with a removable cobalt blue glass receptacle, perfectly matching the shape of the frame.
Late 19th-century French work, early Art Nouveau.
