Cordy Sandoval (b1977) painted this retablo of San Juan Nepomuceno when she was 14 years old. She is the daughter of renowned Chimayo, New Mexico santero Jerry Sandoval. Jerry is known for using natural pigments to paint his retablos, so I imagine she used his natural pigments. Retablos depict a Catholic saint. San Juan Nepomuceno was a 14th-century priest and martyr, venerated by the Catholic Churches the
Patron saint of confession. A rare piece to start or add to a collection. Wired to hang on the wall or display on a stand. I have another retablo of Cordys listed also.

I'm an interior decorator who's downsizing my own and inherited items. All have been well cared for and from a non-smoking home.
