Cordy Sandoval (b1977) painted this retablo of Santa Liberata when she was 14 years old. She is the daughter of renowned Chimayo, New Mexico santero Jerry Sandoval. Jerry is known for using natural pigments to paint his retablos, so I imagine she used his natural pigments. Retablos depict a Catholic saint. Santa Liberata was a virgin and murderer from the 2nd century. A rare and beautiful piece to start or add to a collection. Wired to hang on the wall or display on a stand. I have another ratablo of Cordy's listed also.

I'm an interior decorator who's downsizing my own and inherited items. All have been well cared for and from a non-smoking home.
