In this listing you will find a striking Hollywood Regency silver-plated centerpiece or serving platter designed by Franco Lapini. It features a central sculpture of a seated boar, surrounded by decorative elements depicting oak foliage and acorn. Works of Franco Lapini are extremely decorative and rather hard to come by. The piece is signed on the bottom side of the platter. Made in Italy in the 1970s. The platter is in very good vintage condition with some signs of time and use, such as patina and areas where silver plating has fallen off. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
