The dynamic print showcases the vibrant color and energetic momentum that have become defining characteristics of his paper work. Metallic blue, gold, and black are overlaid, employing the lithography process, across a brushed red intaglio background. Applications of turquoise and green handwork are incorporated into the interior of the Basket drawing, along with a striking lime green for what Chihuly refers to as a “lip wrap.” Double Time is signed in a bright gold acrylic paint and also signed by the artist, numbered 46 of 160 in pencil. The print and frame are in good condition with minimal wear for its usage. See less
