This is a beautiful example of a Roseville pottery Bleeding Heart pattern, shape 379–6 produced in the early 1940s. The bowl features the classic soft green-blue matte glaze with raised pink bleeding heart florals and side handles. A charming and collectible piece of American art pottery from Zanesville Ohio. An excellent decorative accent for arts and crafts, cottage, French country, or vintage American pottery displays. It is in very good vintage condition with a small repaired chip under the rim, which is hardly noticeable. Please see photos.
