Hayes Parker was an artist who worked with ceramic, pottery and stone. He died very young so now his pieces are highly collectible.
This particular find is a planter made of stone in the shape of a woven basket full of flowers. It has a rustic appearance that exudes old world charm. The planter would be wonderful holding a small potted fern or ivy. It is just as wonderful displayed by itself.
The signature remains on the bottom.
The planter holds 3.5” plastic pot nicely as pictured.
