Lovely mahogany grandmother clock by Colonial Manufacturing Company of Zeeland, MI (model number 1662). Early 20th century (probably 1930s). Single family owned through 4 generations.
Ran beautifully through 2018 but has been turned off since. Needs clockmaker to reconnect pendulum and tune chimes. If I remember correctly, it has beautiful Westminster Chimes on the hour. Can't remember if it also strikes the half-hour or at quarter-hours. Two finials complete the top crest (not pictured but included).
Height: about 75.5 inches to top of crown
Width: about 15 inches across face, about 14.25 inches across base
Depth: about 8.5 inches at base of clockface, about 8 inches at foot
Clock face has three winding holes for springs controlling time (hands), strike (hour), and chime (melody). Two keys are included.
