A very handsome pair of foo dogs, seated on ochre glazed plinths, one with a ball under its paw, the other with a puppy. Both with good vivid coloring and nice details: the swirling fur of the manes and backs are particularly striking. Old felting on the bottoms to protect surfaces. No visible marks. Early to mid 20th century. Very good condition, with typical craquelure and irregularities to the surface and glazes, as made.
