A richly enameled and finely detailed Meiji-era Imari porcelain deep bowl, measuring 13.5 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches high, with vivid decoration of phoenix birds, peonies, and chrysanthemums in overglaze red, cobalt, green, and gilt. The interior features a central floral arrangement in a vase, flanked by alternating fan-shaped and hexagonal reserves of phoenixes and symbolic florals. The outer wall continues the motif with a rhythmic chrysanthemum-and-scroll pattern rendered in iron red and underglaze blue.

Marked on the base in red seal script, likely associated with the Fukagawa workshop, though not bearing the formal Koransha orchid or Mt. Fuji marks. The quality of decoration and symmetry of form reflect the standards of Arita’s finest Meiji-period kilns.

Excellent antique condition; minor rubbing to gold and enamels consistent with age and handling. See less
