Fabulously exotic-looking Persian Qajar-inspired style, nicely-weighted hand chased and repoussé removable brass charger tray table top. This beauty rests atop a turned ring and cup six-legged folding wood table base with interconnected stretchers. Should the need arise, the table base conveniently folds flat to be tucked away into the smallest of spaces until needed again. Perfectly sized to serve as a drinks table or if space is limited, as an eye-catching petite coffee table for a smaller home or condo.

The removable brass charger tray table top’s superb craftsmanship is evident starting with a hammer folded pie crust edge. The look continues with a remarkable mix of chased and repoussé figural scenes of noblemen, warriors, maidens, animals and various other figures adorning the top. Both the removable brass charger tray table top and table base are in excellent condition. Please take a peek at photos 1, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14 & 15 to view age-appropriate patination of certain areas of the brass. Together the two pieces weigh approximately 15 lbs. This beauty measures as follows:

We believe this beautiful table top was handcrafted sometime in the mid 20th-century but it could be slightly older based on the uncommon figural design; maker unknown.
