A charming vintage studio pottery bowl, hand-thrown and signed on the underside with an illegible artist’s mark dated 1982. The bowl is crafted from stoneware clay, showcasing a natural earthy body with concentric wheel-thrown lines. The interior features a striking hand-painted cobalt blue band decorated with abstract leaf motifs in deep brown, giving the piece both rustic character and artistic sophistication.
This handmade work reflects the organic aesthetic of the 1980s Studio Pottery Movement, where utility merged with artistic individuality. Its generous form and decorative glaze make it suitable as a functional serving piece or as a display object for collectors of vintage ceramics.
A one-of-a-kind piece of studio art pottery that captures both craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
