Pair of handsome torchiere lamps that saw very little use or handling. Large scale and nicely made, these are not marked but likely by Rembrandt or Stiffel. Regardless a classic design with antiqued brass finish and milk glass diffuser shades.
Unique dual switch design, the top "key" is a 3-way switch that allows for controlling brightness or off. The larger "key" turns the bulb on or off regardless of brightness. Likely from the 1960's these remain in Very Good condition-quite clean. Direct from a local estate, please study photos, read condition report and send any questions.
36" tall to top of shade, 31.5" to top of brass, about 6.76" diameter base. Each lamp is about 11 pounds.
Excellent condition overall. Deal with a lot of vintage lamps and these are pretty crisp. The brass is free of any dents, no bends, no repairs, no pitting etc. There are some minor surface rubs, light scratches and edge wear on the center "urns". See close ups. A few other light surface marks here and there but nothing dramatic. Clean, smooth finish overall-make a fine appearance, very little tarnishing or patina. Shades are very nice, no chips or cracks, smooth edges, just light signs of age. Cords, sockets and all the switches are working great. Stand straight and solid.
