The chair base is … Read more Here is a STUNNING, statement piece featuring a French porters chair shape with Chinoiserie inspired upholstery. The chair base is made from a natural, solid wood that has a lighter, "bleached" tone. The back of the chair has a caged design which is just fantastic! Please also note the wonderful shapes on the legs in front and the slight splayed shape in the back. The chair has been newly recovered in Waverly's Mudan fabric, really emphasizing the whimsical feel of this piece! There is a nailhead trim detail and beautiful tufting on the backrest. The cushion can be removed. I mean, what a chair! I have never seen one quite like it! See less
