Antique Salins Versailles blue transfer ware small plates, for cheese or dessert or breakfast. The decoration is pretty with a basket of flowers and the border of a grecian column entwined with flowers.

The factory stamp is clear on the underside with the pattern name, Versailles Salins, terre de fer, ironstone. The earthenware producer Salins was established in 1857 in Salins-les-Bains in Lorraine, near the border with Switzerland. The site of an old Capuchin convent with its surrounding premises was converted to a faience pottery. They ceased trading and closed their factory in 1998.

They are in good condition, without chips or cracks. There is small signs of previous use commensurate with age.

I would not recommend cleaning in a dish washer, the modern detergents can damage the paint. This piece has an attribution mark,
