This … Read more Beautifully refinished mid century modern nine drawer lowboy dresser on a Kaganesque sculpted base, constructed from solid American walnut.

This piece was refinished without stain in order to allow natural color variations in the wood to shine through and to highlight the striking grain patterns across the front. Each row of drawers was constructed from the same board of walnut, cut into thirds, so that the grain flows continuously from left to right. The recessed drawer handles are sculpted from the drawer face – meaning no metal pulls that will tarnish or break over time.

The solid walnut build means this dresser can be restored in another 60 years to look as perfect as it does today.

Although the drawer pulls and construction are nearly identical to a mahogany dresser by American of Martinsville, the manufacturer of this piece is unknown. See less
