Charming Vintage 1970’s Large Terracotta Bowl, Made in Portugal.
A beautiful rustic European village scene featuring a large sunburst. Evil eyes, fish, mountains, clouds, trees, houses, animals and people all rendered in charming style. Fluted edges. Painted in shades of off-white/almond and black. Glazed overall. Very solid and sturdy.
Bottom of bowl features a border of seven large stylized sunflowers.
The bowl stands on three angled legs, all pierced with holes, allowing the piece to be hung on the wall. (The bowl arrives with a twisted sturdy handmade hook for instant hanging.)
Made and purchased in Portugal.
Measures 12.25” dia x 3.5”h.
Great vintage condition with a spot of amber glaze as shown in bowl of piece. Some age appropriate wear to edges as shown.
