Evoking a sense of natural harmony, this large stoneware dish from the studio of La Fuente captures the dynamic energy of aquatic life. The composition is built around two powerful fish, whose forms are incised into the surface using the sgraffito method. This technique lends a crisp, illustrative quality to their scales and fins, creating a stunning visual contrast against the tactile, hand-thrown form.

The design is masterfully balanced, with the opposing fish creating a yin-yang effect.
