Vintage 1980s oversized store display red crayon. This large-scale crayon was used in a back-to-school window display at Bresee’s, a defunct department store in upstate New York. The display reflects the 1980s trend of using exaggerated, playful props, part of the broader “ThinkBig” merchandising style of the era.
Made of thick cardboard with a glossy red body, complete with paper label. The conical tip is formed from a separate piece, joined with adhesive. Hollow construction.
