This Louis XV French Bombay style Credenza Sideboard Dresser features a hand-painted flora design in raspberry pink and French Blue on a clay-colored ground. The petite flowers are accented by French Blue and Cream Acanthus Leaf and Swirled boarders. The chest has six drawers with original metal handles. The piece is from the late 1800s and is accented by old gold banded trim In person, the gold banding is more metallic than it photographed. Curated from France, the piece has aging and use wear throughout but remains sturdy and beautiful. The Serpentine Bombay details are dramatic and highly ornate. Photography note: in person this piece shows more of the Cornflower Blue than appears in the photograph.
