A dramatic large-scale studio pottery bowl, wheel-thrown in stoneware and richly glazed in earth tones, dating to the 1960s–1970s. The exterior features a dark, tenmoku-inspired glaze with subtle olive drips and horizontal striations, while the interior is finished in a soft gray glaze accented by natural iron spotting and fine crackle. The exposed clay rim adds warmth and contrast, highlighting the craftsmanship. This substantial bowl embodies the organic modern aesthetic of the mid-century studio pottery movement, blending utility and artistry.
