Here we have a small antique red chest with four drawers. Made of solid oak by the Munk & Roberts Furniture Company in Connersville Indiana and dates to somewhere between 1888-1898. All original ornate brass hardware and wooden caster wheels are present. The dovetailed drawers slide smoothly and the larger drawers have their signature ingenious drawer stop mechanism. There is a key present which works all of the locks. Measures 48 inches wide and 22.75 inches deep and 26.25 inches tall. Perfect for a nightstand, hall chest, side table or child's room. Beautiful distressed finish in a lovely weathered shade of red.
No damage or missing parts. Evidence of having been refinished more than once. There's some old light staining on the inside of the drawers, please examine the pics and feel free to ask questions. Overall very clean solid condition. A very cute little red chest... thanks for looking!!!
