George Jacob Hunzinger inspired rocking chair.
A 19th century, Victorian Eastlake design of a bamboo campaign styled teak wood with a linen fabric upholstery. Hunzinger’s furniture is on exhibit in the Met Museum in New York City. This rocker is in excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. No serious damage or repairs, other than the original red velvet upholstery was replaced with a heavy white linen fabric. Weighs 30lbs.
