A pair of dinner plates produced by Limoges and hand-painted in Paris for Marie Daâge. Each plate is edged with hand-polished 24-karat matte gold filet. Excellent condition with very light wear. No chips or cracks. A few light marks noted with a close inspection but present very well.
Each measures 10.5" diameter.
"Dedicated to preserving traditional, artisan techniques, Marie Daâge’s porcelain creations evoke the elegance of fine French tableware, beautifully reinterpreted with richly hued contemporary abstract patterns and delicate gold detailing. Fascinated by colour, Marie Daâge mixes each pigment by hand to achieve the exact depth and richness of tone required for her mesmerising tabletop designs."
