Danish Mid-Century Freestanding Rosewood Desk by Clausen & Søn, 1960s.
Stunning Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern executive desk attributed to Clausen & Søn due to the signature butterfly drawer pulls. Made in Denmark in the 1960s.
High quality writing with strict minimalist lines. Front with six deep drawers, top drawers with lock. One key is included. Back with open book shelf.
Large knee space, 60.5 x 70 cm.
Beautiful vivid rosewood grain pattern on all surfaces. Impressive craftsmanship and stringent symmetrical lines.
Good vintage condition with patina consistent with age and use. Normal wear, especially small scratches. Drawers runs easily. Cleaned and polished, ready for use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
