It appears to have a copper / metal top, but it's all pottery and with the artists' vision to change colors from top to bottom. This piece is unsigned: but did come, handed down, from a prominent family in Italy whom owned the piece for generations and are now living in the Hamptons. This Vase; known to them as "Cosa Bellissima” which in english is "Beautiful thing". See less
