Each coaster is part of Piero Fornasetti’s iconic Palloni (“Balloons”) series, celebrating the romance of flight and early aeronautical adventures. The designs are inspired by 18th- and 19th-century engravings, vividly depicting hot air balloons, parachute experiments, and whimsical flying machines. The imagery is paired with Italian inscriptions referencing the inventors, dates, and places of the historic flights.
