Mark Rothko ( 1903 - 1970 ) is an American Modernist painter of Russian Jewish descent. Although Rothko himself refused to adhere to any art movement, he is generally defined as an Abstract Expressionist. Rothko is considered to be one of the most important and influential American painters of The Twentieth Century. Artworks by Rothko are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare vintage Abstract Expressionist framed exhibition poster print measures 16 1/4" W X 24" H X 1 3/8" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed detail matte eggshell finish black metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
