This would have been used in a factory to log the employees arrival and departure times. The card holder has 2 lines of 25 compartments all with their original numbers from 1 to 50. It has an oak frame with metal card inserts. It is a beautiful decorative item for a hallway, kitchen, or shop/cafe. Perfect as a prop too.
